by Connie K Cameron Angels He sends keep me from falling They steady me with Heavenly hands Because He loves me, He will save me On Christ the solid rock my victory stands A thousand fall at my side Around me a thousand more are dying But that evil will not touch me My savior wipes away my tears And ends my crying My God above is my only refuge His wings will shelter me from all harm I'm safe within His word and promise I will find my strength within my Saviors arms He's with me so in the dark I am not frightened I do not fear the dangers of the day I trust in His name, and He directs my path And with me He says He will always stay I've got Joy in the midst of sorrow Ive got peace in a trouble time I've got love to conquer hatred The Holy Spirit as my guide Even though a thousand fall at my side I grew up in the Catholic Church but I just didn't get it. I met my husband in 1989, he was saved when he was a boy. He told me all about the Bible and I was saved just a while after. We've had our ups and downs, mostly downs but we keep going!
