If I Could Write . . .
by Deborah Ann Belka If I could write on the clouds, the raindrops would descend with the words of my love for in God ~ I've no better a friend. If I could write on the seas, the waves would crest with the words of my faith for in God ~ I have perfect rest. If I could write on the mountains, the foothills would read the words of my trust for in God ~ I have all that I need. If I could write on the grassy fields, the blades would clap and sing with the words of my praise for in God ~ I will always cling. If I could write on the sky, the stars would spell out the words of my hope for in God ~ I have not a doubt. If I could write up in heaven, I would spell out your name . . . and pray your life you'd give Him for in God ~ you'll never be the same!
