Soft Spot
by PamFord Davis

Ouch! You got me right where it hurts! No, I am not referring to my pocketbook. Just like a newborn baby with a soft spot atop its head, we each have areas where we are most vulnerable to injury. Likely, for us it is where painful experiences bruised us in the past. We are fragile and require tender loving care.

Try a little tenderness. "And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you (Ephesians 4: 32 NAS)." As one "old softy" to another, I appreciate your compassion. I will strive to take reciprocal action. "Ouches" really hurt; please kiss it and make it all better!
