Blessed are The Poor in Spirit
by Deborah Ann Belka Blessed are the poor in spirit, those who trust God and His Son those who are spiritually bankrupt who have a need ~ for no other one. Blessed are the hopelessly condemned, those who acknowledge their sin those who accept their shortcomings who know of the darkness that's within. Blessed are the morally destitute, those who are full of iniquity's decay those who recognize their wickedness who are beggars on the narrow way. Blessed are the unrighteous, those who have a depressive condition those who live in pious poverty who finally see their own transgression. Blessed are those empty of all pride, those who are conscious of their greed those who believe Jesus paid their debt who know that God's love is all they need. Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven they believe in God's power and favor for when they repent ~ they are forgiven! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Matthew 5:3 "Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
