The Cost of Endurance
by Deborah Ann Belka The Bible says to run the race, with endurance in our steps to jump over the tricky obstacles and to pass up the risky objects. This race is not an easy one, there's a cost for everyday enduring most of us can't stay the course because sin can be so ~ alluring. But, we are called to this race, to be patient and persistent and in our daily run with faith we must be ~ pressure resistant. Before we step onto the track, we must warm-up our endurance then work-out all the resistance so we'll run with God's assurance. There will be many a roadblock, that each day we'll face head on but if we trust in God's power He'll strengthen us till their gone. In this race, we'll have to give up, the things that bring us pleasure but when we set them aside we'll add to our eternal treasure. This race is long and hard, no one said it was trouble-free so let's keep our eyes on the goal and run the race with joy and glee! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hebrews 12 "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us."
