Jilted
by PamFord Davis Young love is often fickle. One person ends up jilting and the other jilted; one rejects, the other feels rejected. Puppy love may be humorous to the big dogs in the neighborhood, but when you are the rejected party it is serious business. Our hearts are fragile and it is not easy to mend a broken heart. Before I too harshly judge those on the jilting end, I am wise to remember my first love "You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary. Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love. Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first (Revelation 2:3-5a NIV)." I am so sorry.
