THE CRY OF SAMSON (Aftermath) (PT 1)
by SIXTUS ONYEANUSI

Vs1:
By God's promise was I conceived
And by God's power was I born
To make sure Israel is relieved
To be free to serve the LORD God

Refrain:
Woe is me, I fell short of grace
I was sifted from Divine place
The pleasures of sin ruined my call
My hardened heart could not obey
But God saved me, it's mercy all
Be warned and learn; go not my way

Vs2:
God's grace was mightily on me
In strength, in might, I was all fit
I thought I stood and failed to watch
But fell headlong as a big catch

Vs3:
I treated God's mercies as rags
"How great I am!" so I did brag
I toyed with my consecrations
...lost my call to bring salvation
