Dearest Doris
by Verna Mull Dearest Doris Don't let Satan plant, even just a tiny acorn of doubt, Which grows into a towering tree, by which, he tries to wear us out. Jesus knew those times would come, just to plague you and me; Before He ever came to earth, or hung upon His cruel tree. He has had recorded, many things, of which we cannot doubt.- Revealing to King David, what death is all about. David knew that he had sinned, yet knew he'd be forgiven; Before his call to face his judge, and meet this child in heaven The mount of transfiguration, shows us we will all be known; Just as long as we have allowed our Jesus, our sins to atone. Yes, God has provided armor, by which He holds us tight; And promised in our battles, we need never lose a fight. When strength is lost, in the great voyage towards heaven, He'll pick us up and carry us, 'till our new body He has given. Any time a doubt may come, know that we all see Christ in you; Which will strengthen us in our battles, before our life is through. V.M.
