Crosswalk
by PamFord Davis

Boy Scouts are not only prepared; they are attentive and courteous too. They watch for opportunities of service. Seeing an elderly woman at a crosswalk, a future leader of tomorrow will take her by the arm and walk her across to safety. At times when an individual is ill and not steady on their feet, a caretaker offers an arm and security as well.

I am able to rest securely in the Lord. "O Lord, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in time of trouble (Isaiah 33:2 KJV)." His arm steadies me; He sets me firmly upon the Rock. God offers it to all in need. Meet you soon at the "cross" walk of faith!
