READY TO DIE FOR CHRIST
by SIXTUS ONYEANUSI Vs1: My life is nothing but a grass Which today is, tomorrow passed Let me fill up the Lord's garden And be burnt unto His burden Refrain: If it means to die now for Christ Shall I not willingly go? If it means to be slain for Christ Shall I not joyfully bow? Jesus is worthy of my death I long for Him above this earth Vs2: I count not my life dear to me In life or death, Jesus I know It pays nought if I shrink from Him To jesus I commit my soul Vs3: I've heard of men who died for Christ Who were denied even their rights Nothing could lure them from this earth They loved Christ even unto death Vs4: I have only one life to live Let it be solely for Jesus I have only one death to die Let it be because of Jesus **** *** ** * The days of martyrs have not gone; even now it is happening. Are you ready to die for your faith; your relationship with Jesus? If you can't die for Christ, you are not living for Christ, and you can't be with Christ. The days of great afflictions and persecutions of true Children of light is coming, even here now. And God is building His people; the people of power, the people of might in Him, with willingness to follow, and readiness to die for Christ. People whose lives are no more dear to them for the sake of Christ. People who can boldly say, "to die is gain, to live is Christ...whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord Jesus.
