To Those We'll Leave Behind
by

To those we'll leave behind
When you see us go to glory
What thoughts will fill your mind?
Will you reflect on what you were told again and again?
How you doubted and wavered, not wanting to beleive!
Thinking that the Bible was a fairy tale, lterature or all of the above
When it really is a great story of redemption and hope,of God's covenant of love
Preparing us for His kingdom, for when He calls us above
So when that day arrives and the events around you unfold
Please remember, precious one,how you were warned and told
To be left behind when the trumpet sounds is to face an awful fate
Finally to realize the Lord has come-will it be too late?
Still there are many oppotunities for you to come to Him
But the days after the Rapture will be perilous, dark and grim
Seven years of unbelievable disaster, tribulation and great fear
But the Lord will still be there, close and always near
In the last days of the Great Tribulation it will be awful and bleak
Yet God will send revival, welcome those who will seek
My closing prayer for you, beloved friend, whoever you are
That you accept the Lord today, whether you are near or far
The Good Shepard will take us through these dark and perilous times
Please believe this is true and accept Jesus with all your heart
So when the trumpet sounds we'll be together forever, never to depart
