You do not need to be perfect to work for God
by Faith C

Friends, I love to write but am not a writer. I love to work for God and grow His Kingdom but have no deep knowledge of Scripture or theology in me. I write to be a testimony of a life that is touched by God and share how He leads, teaches me and what He puts on my heart to write.

A few days ago, I've been praying to Jesus and said "Please stop me from writing. I need to be completely changed and know the Bible well. Please give me one month at least." This morning I said a similar prayer...

Then I heard from Him "If you wait to be perfect for Me, you will be waiting a long time."

So Friends, I encourage you to join me and in all our weakness, struggles, failings, in all that we have and in Christ Jesus, with His strength and His Spirit, with His guidance and aid, with His love in us and our love for Him, let us be open to follow His promptings and work to touch others lives and share the knowledge of Jesus to them.

Let the Bible Teachers and the Scholars, the Pastors and the Evangelists, do their bit and let us do ours. Each of us have a role in this world and God has called us for a special task and purpose.

He will use our availability and He will gift and enable us. He can use our weakness to shine in us. He can use our mistakes to show that He can use a broken and even a sinful person. All He needs is a willing person to step in.

He wants to touch you and build you and through you to touch others. Please turn towards Him completely and offer Him your lives. You can say this prayer or one from your heart "Here I am Lord, have Your way in me. I am not ready O God but if You need someone like me with all my faults and failings, if you need someone to transform and be a witness and serve You, here I am."

You and I are a work in progress for He who began a good work in us, will be faithful to complete it in us.

"All the Glory goes to You O Mighty God. We come to You as we are and lay it all down before You. Receive us O God to be as You desire, for Your Kingdom, Honour and Glory now and forevermore amen".

PS: Due to restrictions due illness, I am not connected to Private Messenger on this site

"Lead us O Holy One. Guide us and bless us. Thank You amen"
