A Season of Revelation
by Raquel Soto

As I was seeking the Lord on what to share with you this month, I clearly heard the Jeremiah 33:3. I honestly couldn't remember what it was, so I looked it up.

Foundational text: Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Jeremiah 33:3 KJV

There are so many great things happening in the ministry. I do not have the time now to tell you all of it, but I have had the chance to pray for people for many people the last few weeks and be part of their answers to prayers. Miracles are happening!

In Chuck Smith's commentary on this chapter, he labeled it "A Glorious Return Promised to the Captives". I thought this was appropriate in this time. So many who have come for prayer have felt as though they have been captive for so long! Is this you to?

Part of the reason that you might be still "captive" is that you don't have sufficient information to get you out. I have been studying the book of Proverbs and have come to the conclusion that there are four things that work together: knowledge (the what), understanding (the how), and wisdom (the application). These three go in conjunction and are the keys to success. However, it is the key before wisdom that will really set you free: revelation.

Revelation is that "Aha!" moment. It's that moment after meditating on something (knowledge) and realizing how it works (understanding) that something triggers inside of you that says "Oh! I get it now! THAT'S why God said that!" Then, you can use wisdom to apply the knowledge and understanding you have learned where necessary. Because of this "Aha!" moment, it registers into your heart (soul) and takes root. Then, out of the abundance of your heart (soul), your mouth speaks forth the incorruptible seed (the Word) and manifestation happens.

When God stated here to call to Him, the Hebrew word for call used is qara' {kaw-raw'}. One of the definitions, according to Strong's, is to invite. God wants you to invite Him into those circumstances that you are having difficulty in. He promises to `anah {aw-naw'}, which means to respond to and to make an answer. God promises to respond to you if you would just invite Him!

This verse goes on to say nagad {naw-gad'}, which means in Hebrew that He will announce or make known to you important things inaccessible things that you aren't aware of. How would you like that? An insider telling you what you need to know before it happens! Maybe it's as simple as changing your diet or not watching as much television to obtain some ground in victory. Ask God. He will show you what to do!

God has a wonderful plan for your life. I know that you probably sick and tired of people telling you the same thing over and over when you've been down for so long. But that doesn't make that fact any less true. God wants you well! He wants you whole! He wants you successful. When you live out the purpose of Genesis 1, it reflects that God is still Alive and He is involved with His Children. Your blessed life is a beacon to the lost. It should be saying, "Look over here! Come get what I have!"

Allow God to answer you call. Would you invite Him today?

I bless you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Author and Finisher of our faith.
