Slow Down!
by Deborah Ann Belka I saw a tiny little caterpillar crawling on the backyard deck I decided to follow him, I had the time, so what the heck. He inched his way forward, at a slow but perfect pace I could tell he wasn't in a hurry this wasn't gonna be a race. He made his way along, and never missed a beat he moved what seemed to be a million ~ tiny little feet. When he finally stopped, he had a tree in his sight it had a thousand leaves to his joy and his delight. He found his way up the trunk, and rested upon a leaf he chomped away on it giving his hunger pains relief. It's funny how this caterpillar, reminds me of God's ways and how I'm in such a hurry as I travel about my days. I wonder how much I've miss, while on my frantic pace . . . it seems I am always in a hurry to get a taste of God's grace. Perhaps if I slow down, I will see what's in front of me and to my joy and His delight a happier camper I will be! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Psalm 37:7 " Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him:" Copyright 2019 Deborah Ann Belka [email protected] www.hiswingsshadow.com http://poetrybydeborahann.wordpress.com/ TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
