Being ... Is A Pleasure

The vital question here is: Is Pleasure of a religion the purpose of living or serving God by obeying Him? The answer to the above poser can be found in Deuteronomy 10:12-13 "And now,what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God ,to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and to keep the commandments of the Lord.'' The above clearly demonstrates that ''pleasure'' is not one of God's cardinal requirements of mankind. Where does "pleasure" seeking belong? Genesis 3:6 answers this clearly. "So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was PLEASANT to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise,she took of its fruits and ate". That was the beginning of the fall and failure of man, sin. "He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning." 1 John 3:8a. In this age, what importance does "pleasure" have? 2 Timothy 3:1-5 read "But know this,that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves,lovers of money,boasters,proud , blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful,unholy, unloving,unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, LOVERS OF PLEASURE rather than lovers of God,having a form of godliness but denying its power." Therefore,if you are a lover of pleasure, you are a lover of sin and you are of the devil. Do you want to become a lover of God? 1 John 3:8-9 declare thus, "For this pusose the Son of God was manifested, that He migh destroy the works of the devil. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he can not sin, because he has been born of God." Do you want to be born of God? Then tell Him: Lord Jesus Christ, I am a lover of pleasure (sin) and I can not help myself out of it. So help me. I confess all my sins before you and forsake them. Have mercy on me. Forgive me. Henceforth,I accept You as my Lord and Savior forever. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, Amen. You can not afford to be a loan-ranger in your walk with God, you need to associate with others who so walk. Never be contented with 'Being ...(a religionist) is a pleasure.
