The Deep Soul of I Am
by lynn gipson

John 8:58. Jesus said, "Truly, Truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am.

I cry out to all of mercy, love and forgiveness.
I beg for belief in the One who came to save the world.
I frown at injustice, and I smile at children.
I pray to the Father for all who have sinned and fallen short of His glory.
I ache for the sick; I feel one's pain.
I abhor evil.

I long for the love of every man, woman and child.
I behold the beauty of all lands and I see the desolation.
I seek those who are lost, tired, and have no where to turn.
I speak to hearts and ease minds.
I never give up on those who turn away from me.
I weep for the abused child.

I am without rest, and I never tire of those in need.
I am the spirit of everything Holy.
I am every person's goodness.
I am love.
I am redemption.
I am strong and ever lasting.
I am the beginning and I am the end.
I am the deep soul of Christ, I am.

I am a 61 year cancer survivor just recently become a writer. I write short stories, articles and poems of Christian or Spritual nature.
