The Mystery Of God's Will
by Deborah Ann Belka There is a deep longing, an ache so profound that I feel it eats away at my soul and my peace it's determined to steal. I try to concentrate, but my mind will not stay still. "Oh, Lord" I pray, "show to me Your perfect will." The desire to know His ways, to follow them without a thought creeps into my heart and I feel my body tighten into a knot. "Why, oh why Dear Lord, is it so hard for me to know the direction and the path that You have planned for me to go?" I read from the Holy Scriptures word by word ~ I devour all the truth and the goodness that will give me His strength and power. "Please Lord, please come closer, send the Holy Spirit to my side and then together we can be as one for I need the Good Shepherd as my guide." There is a deep longing, an ache so profound that I feel and all I want to know Lord is . . . the mystery of Your will. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Psalm 32:8-9 King James Version " I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
