My Prerogative
by PamFord Davis

Sometimes I'm up; sometimes I'm down. My emotions soar; my emotions plunge. I may begin my day up on the mountain, able to tackle the world, only to fall into the valley of defeat before sundown. Yup, sometimes I'm up; sometimes I'm down!

My ups and downs never take the Lord by surprise. "O LORD, Thou hast searched me and known me. Thou dost know when I sit down and when I rise up; Thou dost understand my thoughts from afar (Psalm 139:1-2 NAS)."

My thoughts and feelings intermingle and determine my position. I can be up or down. What will I choose? A woman not only has the prerogative to change her mind, but the way she handles her emotions. Things are looking up!
