My Favorite Book Ted Dekkers THR3E
by Marijo Phelps

I shout about this one, when I think favorite book I automatically translate that to "favorite novel". I read 2-7 novels a week. Mostly by Christian authors or publishers so I don't go to bed and have nightmares, guess I am pretty suggestible.

THR3E by Ted Dekker is riveting, fast paced, edge of the seat fiction with a "gotcha" ending that I didn't see coming. Did I mention that I don't care for "chick flick" books? What I enjoy reading can have a touch of romance but needs to be mainly action, adventure, suspense, intrigue and in a current day setting. THR3E is all of those and even more.

Usually when I read a novel it is relatively easy to see the clues the author is laying down for the reader. I have "ah ha" moments throughout the book and then am pleased to have followed the "bread crumbs". With this book I was totally taken aback, to the point where I went back through the writing to check. One thing I dislike most in a novel is when the author takes license and draws conclusions of writes endings without explaining how he arrived where he or she did. Ted Dekker did not do that. It all added up clear through. I know because I double checked it all and was still blown away.

What more can I say? You should take time and treat yourself to this fascinating novel. I suspect you will have a hard time putting it down. I need to get it and read it again and just might do that this coming week, having said that my biggest disappointment in this whole escapade? My husband didn't like the book.
