Faith, Hoped For . . .
by Deborah Ann Belka At the foot of the cross, I left my burdens along with my shame and doubt then I handed over what was left to Jesus and He turned my life inside out. Through bitter tears and deep sobbing, confessions rolled down my cheeks then He took from me my pride and taught me to be spiritually meek. He showed me the meaning of forgiveness though compassion, mercy and grace then He shined His light in my heart and His love you could see on my face. He opened my eyes to the meaning, of trusting in something that we can't see then He filled me with His hope and joy and promised one day in heaven we'll be. For years, I spent my days wondering, just what this Lord and Savior was about ah, but that day I left my burdens with Jesus He took ~ what was left of my doubt. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hebrews 11:1 King James Version "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
