Uplifted Hands
by PamFord Davis Have you ever sensed God's direct intervention? In trying circumstances, I've received victory in relation to the prayers of others. I know it is totally unrelated to any strength of my own; it rests entirely in God's sovereignty, released through prayer support of believers. Please keep lifting my hands. Moses uplifted hands once signaled victory over Israel's enemy. (Exodus 17:8-11) "When Moses' hands grew heavy, they took a stone and put [it] under him, and he sat down on it. Then Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side and one on the other so that his hands remained steady until the sun went down. So Joshua defeated Amalek and his army with the sword (Exodus 17:11-13 HCS)." Steady my hands; our adversary the devil is relentless!
