Dawdler or Doer?
by PamFord Davis

"Don't dawdle!" A parent runs short on patience, and reprimands their child who is reluctant to carry out assigned tasks. Immature children drag their feet to a cluttered bedroom, and begin to do what their mother or father instructed. They have been a dawdler; now it's time to be a doer and clean up their mess!

"But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves. For if any one is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror; for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he has immediately forgotten what kind of person he was (James 1:22-24 NAS)." Am I a deluded dawdler? It's time to do right!
