Minutes Tick Away
by PamFord Davis

The home of my grandparents always sounded like a clock factory. I noted the ticking away of hours. Clocks of varied styles and sizes sounded throughout the small two-story bungalow. The loudest, was a mantle clock, with eerie resounding chimes. Minutes tick away; time flies.

"Children, this is the last hour. You heard that the enemy of Christ would appear at this time, and many of Christ's enemies have already appeared. So we know that the last hour is here (1 John 2:18 CEV)." Multitudes mocked Noah. Skeptics sneer; where is proof of Christ's return?

"The Lord isn't slow about keeping his promises, as some people think he is. In fact, God is patient, because he wants everyone to turn from sin and no one to be lost. The day of the Lord's return will surprise us like a thief. (2 Peter 3:9-10a CEV)." Tick-tock, it's time to trust Jesus.
