Soul Shepherd
by lynn gipson My soul seems astray in the world today My troubled heart is so weary While tangled up with doubts of faith My shepherd calls out to me As the last lamb was to find his way Turning at every direction Losing my place from the other sheep Away from his love and affection A good shepherd gives his life for his flock As my Savior said was to be But fear leads me into the shadows Dark spirits of sin blinding me Oh shepherd of mine, please find me I am lost in the world today Backtracking my way to where I have been But the path is no longer safe Dear Jesus, you are the shepherd of mine You gave your all for my soul When I wander too far from salvation You lead me back to your fold.
