PATIENCE,A MUST HAVE VIRTUE!!
by Lady Pearl Mills

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces PATIENCE. James 1:2-3 (New King James Version)

What is then is The meaning of PATIENCE,

v Tolerant and even-tempered perseverance,

v The capacity for calmly enduring pain, trying situations, etc.

v Bearing or enduring pain, difficulty, provocation, or annoyance with calmness.

v Marked by or exhibiting calm endurance of pain, difficulty, provocation, or annoyance.

v Tolerant; understanding

v Persevering; constant.

v Capable of calmly awaiting an outcome or result; not hasty or impulsive.

v Capable of bearing or enduring pain, difficulty, provocation, or annoyance

Below are its Synonyms: long-suffering, resignation, forbearance

These nouns denote the capacity to endure hardship, difficulty, or inconvenience without complaint. Patience emphasizes calmness, self-control, and the willingness or ability to tolerate delay:

You cannot go through life and be an over comer without having the virtue of patience, you do not learn patience in a comfortable situation or environment; you only learn patience through hard circumstances, through trails and temptations. The book of Job is a must read PATIENCE story we all need to read. Whiles going through trails, wait till God Himself comes into your situation, don't consult any medium or fetish or any lesser god. Job, He waited when he lost all his wealth. He waited when he lost his family. He patiently waited when he lost his health. He was patient when he was criticized by his wife and friends

14 If a man dies, shall he live again? All the days of my hard service I will wait,

Till my change comes
. Job 14:14 (New King James Version)

During waiting time get BUSY (Burden Under Saviour's Yoke, not Satan's Yoke which is complaining, crying, murmuring, anxiety) health wise these things do not help you can get blood pressure, stress, depression, chronic pains etc. God knows the best for His children, that's why He said in 1Thesselonians 5.18 in EVERYTHING give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.In everything, when life is tough and as if your prayers hardly bypass your ceilings, give thanks and be anxious about nothinganxiety kills!

Be anxious (Uneasy and apprehensive about an uncertain event or matter; worried.)for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7 (New King James Version)

God isn't powerless, He is all powerful but he does not pamper His children. How do you learn to continually trust in Him, if He does not make you pass through tough times. Robert Schuller once said TOUGH TIMES NEVER LAST BUT TOUGH PEOPLE DO

sin can make you go through tough times, but isn't always sin, at times God permits the devil to make things tough for you, for Him to either boast about your faith in Him(God) or to shift you from your comfortable zone to your major blessings. The same energy that you would use to cry and complain to friends and sometimes families who cannot help you or at the end either laugh or gossip about you, that same energy use it in praying and to build yourself up and become a better person. Thank God for pastors or men of God, but they can prevent the life lessons that God wishes you to learn from trails, because We are assured and know that [[a] God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose. Romans 8:28 (Amplified Bible)

If you don't go through test, how do you have a testimony? God is the same God! He hasn't changed, so if you patiently wait for the right time, God's appointed time, you would not be disappointed! Certainly scripture cannot be broken. His time is the best! God makes everything happen at the right time Ecclesiastes 3:11 (Contemporary English Version)

God wouldn't leave you nor put you to shame, He only has your interest in heartget ready for your harvest as you PATIENETLY wait on Him.

Psalm 40:1-3 (New Living Translation) I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord.

In the end, Job's patience was rewarded by God, Who demonstrated that He feels the pain of His people and has mercy on their difficulties and problems

Indeed the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. Then all his brothers, all his sisters, and all those who had been his acquaintances before, came to him and ate food with him in his house; and they consoled him and comforted him for all the adversity that the LORD had brought upon him. Each one gave him a piece of silver and each a ring of gold. Now the LORD blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; for he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys. He also had seven sons and three daughters. And he called the name of the first Jemimah, the name of the second Keziah, and the name of the third Keren-Happuch.In all the land were found no women so beautiful as the daughters of Job; and their father gave them an inheritance among their brothers. After this Job lived one hundred and forty years, and saw his children and grandchildren for four generations. So Job died, old and full of days. job 42.10-17

Psalm 126:1-3 (New King James Version)

When the LORD brought back the captivity of Zion; we were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, "The LORD has done great things for them. The LORD has done great things for us, and we are glad.
