Darwinism
by Lewis E. Thomas I once met a professor who became an educated fool His pockets stuffed with degrees making him real cool! He turned into a madman as we began to chat It all started when I said, "Creation is a fact!" "The Bible is untrue!" he began to rant and rave There is no Creator out there who can save! He said concerning evolution "It's really the way to go!" He said "Darwin spoke it so that makes it so!" I sat back to listen to this one so wise As he began to tell me all the Darwin lies! "My father was a monkey, my mother was a bat!" "My uncle was a jackass, my auntie was a cat!" "My grandpa was a fruitcake, my grandma none the lesser "It was in my genes to become a great professor! He rattled on and on, getting sleepy I did nod I was very thankful that I came from God! With none around to listen I breathed this little prayer "Lord I'm very thankful that you are not a bear!" Darwinism is not a fact but theory at its best! Webster says that "theory" is just an educated guess! We teach this theory as fact in our schools today It has replaced the Bible and made our nation pay. When people can accept God's creation as an honest fact It always brings a change to the way they act. Many cling to evolution tightly standing firmly with a grin Because to acknowledge God they would have to acknowledge sin. I wonder what they'll do on the Judgment Day When God calls Darwin forth, when God makes Darwin pay? Wonder what they'll do when they face the Lord above?
