Free Will
by Lewis E. Thomas We hear the same question over and over in life: "If God exists, why does God allow all the wars and strife?" "Why would a loving God allow mankind to suffer so?" This is the answer God wants everyone to know: "God gave free will to every woman and man It is part of God's glorious eternal plan. God gave us the choice to do good or bad Sometimes our choices make God very sad. To the unbelievers who bash God a lot God did not create man to be a robot! God gave us free will to love or to hate So we determine what will be our fate. God will never violate our free will So mankind is responsible for all his ills. God will never grab you by the nap of the neck To prevent you from turning your life into a wreck. He will plead and try to touch your heart So you will choose Jesus and a new start! We can praise or deny God with our voice Only because He created us with Power of Choice! Wars and strife, they will never cease Until all choose to surrender to The Prince of Peace." Lewis E.
