IDOLATRY
by Lewis E. Thomas Idols have a zillion faces so I'm at a loss as where to start An Idol is something other than God that dominates your heart. Israel was warned many times Ezekiel 22 Jeremiah 7, 8 and 9 That Idolatry was to God an abomination and the ultimate crime! God sent great judgments and wrath against Israel time and again! To turn them from their idols and shake them from their sin. Is your heart driven by an idol that you think is really neat? Does your idol ride up front with you with God in the back seat? When Sunday comes around do you go to church to worship God Or are you out worshipping your idol on that path you trod? God is a jealous God and His word does warn us well Idolatry can damn your soul causing you to spend eternity in hell. So what drives your heart and sets you in motion? Is it God or your idol that gets all your devotion? America is consumed with idolatry and on a violent godless path She's soon to be the object of God's anger and His wrath. Lewis E.
