More Precious Than Gold
by Lewis E. Thomas I'd rather die now and be in my grave And know that my poor soul was saved Than to live a hundred years and a day And be bound by Sin and Satan's slave. Oh listen my friend please listen to me I once was blind, but now I see! Sin did blind me until Jesus came OH! Praise the Lord I'm not the same. Chains of Sin, Oh how they held me Jesus came and Jesus set me free. Oh! Want you come to Jesus now? At His dear feet just humbly bow? He wants so much to save your soul And give you something worth more than gold! Eternal life to you he'll give If you'll repent and for Him you'll live. Eternal life is worth more than everything Come and bow before this Great King! Don't wait until tomorrow it may be too late Tomorrow you know not what will be your fate! Jesus gave me joy now my soul gleams He washed me in His blood and made me clean! When I think of Him my soul does grin He gave His life to save me from Sin. I've said enough I hope you will hear And let Jesus Christ bring you good cheer. Don't be like others who rush through life And never find Jesus; "The Pearl of Great Price!" Lewis E.
