My Rose From Above
by Lewis E. Thomas All roses are created by God up above And roses bring joy to someone you love. Yes, roses often say what you cannot speak Roses can give someone strength when they are weak. While I was walking this path I trod One day I discovered a Rose from God. God looked down, He saw my heart cry So, God placed a Rose a T, G, &Y. A lovely Rose, much different from the rest Yes, for me God had fashioned His best! You'll find only one True Rose in life That has quality enough to be a wife! I picked that Rose gently with no strife I loved her and made her my wife. Lord, let me always nourish her with love My Penny, my Rose that came from above.
