MY WISH

Thomas If I should happen to find a magic lamp today Summoning forth the Genie this is what I would say: Wished that I could be the man that Penny deserves Her Knight in Shining Armor always there to serve. Charging out into the night on a Stallion glowing white Fighting all her battles that I may hold her tight. Wished I could speak wonderful elegant words of love Be her Warrior Strong yet gentle as a dove. Wished that I could capture the love within her soul Walk with her on a Rainbow never to grow old! Wished I could always bring a smile upon her face And put her in a Palace wearing silk and lace. Wished that I could be more than just a man Wished her heart could say "Lewis is really grand!" Wished I could destroy things that hurt her heart But, I would be the one destroyed from the start. Wished I were not boring but exciting all the time Wished I never hurt her that is such a crime! Wished that we could find the key to perfect love Wished we could see the Key watches up above. Wished that we could learn on this path we trod Our wishes won't come true unless we're serving God.
