Of The Body Small
by Lewis E. Thomas I am just a little toe of the body of Christ When God ordained my position He was very precise. My position is much lower than an arm or leg or hand But I am where God wants me and that is really grand! My position is far away from that of my pastoral head No Leadership worries when I lie down in bed. I function outside the SPOTLIGHT, I am seldom seen Yet I am an important member of God's Holy Team. I can even influence things up at the Devine Head With my prayers during the day and at night before bed. No matter how the bread is buttered, cut or sliced I am an important part of The Body of Christ. I work with the many other different members within To spread the gospel of Christ to those lost in sin.
