Restoration of Fellowship
by Lewis E. Thomas Back thru the ages before the first day did dawn I The Lord and Creator existed all alone. There were no stars then or planets to see No birds of the air and no fish in the sea. I was all alone in the mist of space I longed for a friend to love and embrace. My Word created the Angels all instantly at one time Afterwards Lucifer led a rebellion twas oh such a crime. I drove Satan from Heaven with his rebellious crew These Angels don't satisfy so I know what I'll do. I will make man, in my image shall he be I will love him and he shall love me. I'll give him the choice me to love or hate And what he chooses shall determine his fate. I made man and put him in a garden so fair I gave him a helpmate Eve with beautiful long hair. Satan deceived Eve, of the forbidden fruit she ate She chose death for herself and gave to her mate. Adam ate also and death passed to all men Every child in the future will be stained by sin. My fellowship is broken but I know what to do I'll send my Word to become a Savior for you. Jesus is my Word born as my only Begotten Son He died on the cross as Satan fired all his guns! Satan knew not that thru death Jesus would win Death could not hold Jesus because He had no sin! He rose from the grave sin's cleansing to proclaim Only His precious blood could remove sin's ugly stain. Jesus' blood could cleanse all this I do know Most will refuse to come under its life giving flow. My fellowship is restored though with only a few They're washed in the blood that brings life anew!
