Vessel from God
by Lewis E. Thomas When he came into our world it was a moment of joy untold! We had no way of knowing that Tony would never grow old. Tony was a precious vessel on loan from God above And from that precious vessel God poured us lots of love! He poured us hugs and kisses as we watched him grow Everyone always liked him once him they got to know. His smile and his laughter poured out lots of joy We thanked God many times for giving us this boy. His time on this earth was short , only nineteen years When he had to leave us it brought us many tears. The Lord gives and the Lord takes away We are all vessels that He fashioned from His clay. God took Tony back because he needed a vessel grand! As He prepared the Wedding Table for the Son of Man. Lewis E.
