What about you're Soul?
by Lewis E. Thomas Do you ever think about your soul? Jesus said it is worth more than gold. You rush through each day and say "I don't have time to pray!" Do you ever think about your soul? You work hard and you save and you hope you'll get a raise. But, do you ever think about your soul? Church time comes and church time goes, where are you? no one knows. Do you ever think about your soul? For church you don't have time but you're on the Lake the fishing fine! Do you ever think about your soul? My friend there will come a day when we all will have to pay. Do you ever think about your soul? When God weighs you on His scale will your prayer time prevail? Do you ever think about your soul? You spend hours watching T. V. but don't have time to bow your knee. Do you ever think about your soul? Invited to church time and again you'd rather stay home and indulge in sin. Do you ever think about your soul? You've no time to hear someone preach but got a great tan down at the beach. Do you ever think about your soul? When you stand before God's Throne you don't want to stand there all alone. Do you ever think about your soul? Please repent before it's too late and you'll have Jesus to plead your case. Then when you stand to be judged God will only see Jesus' blood. Do you ever think about your soul? Jesus Christ is the only friend who can win your case against sin. Do you ever think about your soul? If you have no time for Jesus he will have no time for you When you stand condemned and guilty and receive what your life has coming due.
