GREATEST COMPASS of ALL
by Lewis E. Thomas I got lost in the woods one day and could not find my way! I HAD NO COMPASS WITH ME,, what more can I say? I pushed through thick brush trying desperately to find my car! Thorny vines scratched my arms and may have left a scar. I thought I was going in the right direction that I should! But I was just lost and alone out there in the woods! My compass was at home nestled in my drawer! As I watched a Hawk overhead as he upward soared. I was reminded of how I used to be lost on Life's Sea Back when I had no moral compass to direct and guide me! Then one day I met Jesus, The Holy Lamb of God! Jesus became my divine compass on this path I trod! So as I stumbled lost in the woods, I began to pray! "Jesus, Please guide my steps and show me the way!" I stepped into an old ATV path that was narrow and tight! I knew it had to lead to a familiar site! I followed it long and well pretty far! It lead me to the road where I had parked my car!
