Solemnly Sing
by PamFord Davis

Pride in country, concern for our people, and commitment to God compel us to pray. We trust God to work in and through our homeland. He is at work in hearts and capital buildings hallways. Patriotism is not dead, though lethargic. My country, your country-solemnly sing.

We raise our voices in patriotic hymns, raise our hands to our hearts, and exalt the King of Kings. He whom holds the universe holds sway over world leaders. "The King's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as are the watercourses; He turns it whichever way He wills (Proverbs 21:1 Amplified Bible)."
