Today's Mystery
by Here on this day I sit here and pray Pen with paper Yet nothing to say Where are the words? My mystery today My mind is merely empty No ideas on what to write All my thoughts and all my words Have simply taken to flight Most days my wits are quicker than the pen My mouth spews many words often On this morn I sit here to pray As I chase this giant away I've been stumped and I've been stretched Don't know the shape I'll bear next I must now surrender Use me as You desire I love you lots my Lord You've set my heart on fire The words I write are to encourage and uplift I want all to know of God's great love - his free gift Your plan has a purpose, you want to teach From me to the nation your love must reach I love the Lord and want Him to use me any way He needs too for His Kingdom.
