The Escape Clause
by Deborah Ann Belka Some say God won't give to me, anything that I cannot handle but I don't believe this is true or with sin, I never would battle. For everyday I must fight, temptations rising up before me and it's the choices that I make that'll either snare or set me free. I know God works all things out, to bring Him glory, for our good I also know that there are times I don't do what I know I should. When face to face with the enemy, I know God will give me a way to escape the traps that he sets but it's up to me, to say yea or nay. It's only when I trust that God, will give me strength and power to escape, as thousands did before to His high and lofty tower. There has not been anything done, or anything Satan hasn't used before to bait, snare. trap, tempt and entice anyone he can to hell's door. I know of one thing that is true, God will never lead me into sin . . . He will always provide an exit plan but I must keep my eyes on Him! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1 Corinthians 10:13 King James Version "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."
