Voice and Face of Your Love
by PamFord Davis Texting and email is convenient; yet, when you fall madly in love, nothing compares to the sound of your beloved's voice and sight of their face. I heard my future husband's wonderful voice on my favorite radio station before we met on a blind date. Listen to the apt description by a lovesick maiden. "His speech is most sweet, and he is all together desirable (Song of Solomon 5:16a RSV)." There is no greater love than what we experience through our relationship with Jesus. Faithful followers yearn to hear him speak their name in the ever sweet by and by. Better yet, "they shall see his face (Revelation 22:4a RSV)."
