On Display
by PamFord Davis Have you ever stopped at a jewelry display case? Store owners store and display exquisite rings, necklaces, bracelets and brooches under glass. Most often, it sits atop velvet within a lighted cabinet. They proudly display their wares. God puts His children on display too. "But thanks be to God, who always puts us on display in Christ, and spreads through us in every place the scent of knowing Him (2 Corinthians 2:14 HCS)." I am ashamed that I so poorly represent Christ. Do people see the clarity of His flawless love in my attitudes and actions? Too often, they are apt to see a clouded image and miss the blessing of seeing Him in His glory and grace. I thankfully serve a Lord of mercy and seek His forgiveness.
