Identify Thief
by Janice Wappel Just like an identity thief Drugs will steal your soul Numb your conscience And change your footprint So then, who will you be? Scripture: Proverbs 5:22-23 ESV The iniquities of the wicked ensnare him and he is held fast in the cords of his sin. He dies for lack of discipline, and because of his great folly he is led astray. Prayer: Lord, I am enslaved to drugs and pain medication. Without Your help, I am lost. Please deliver me and guide me to seek the help I desperately need. Please open my eyes to see how great my need is; and how great and powerful You are. Amen I write short stories and poems that are often inspired by the scriptures I read.
