Incredible!
by PamFord Davis State Fair midway not only has amusement rides, cotton candy, caramel apples, and salt-water taffy. Fair sponsors draw in crowds with hopes of us finding shows and features incredible. TV producers even used "That's Incredible" as a program title. God does incredible and marvelous things in the lives of his children. "This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'It may seem marvelous to the remnant of this people at that time, but will it seem marvelous to me?' declares the LORD Almighty (Zechariah 8:6 NIV)." Not only are the acts of the Almighty marvelous and incredible. He himself is beyond description. Like the Psalmist, I ponder his created heavens and wonder why he should care for me. (Psalm 8:3-8) "O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth (Psalm 8:9 NIV)!" Incredible!
