Bless You!
by PamFord Davis

"Bless you!" Someone sneezes; boldly we say, "Bless you!" They are usually the one feeling a bit self-conscious, because they made a disturbance. It's nice to know that even in today's secular society, perfect strangers unashamedly speak words of blessing. We all are in need of God's blessings. Listen to a child.

"God bless Mommy and Daddy, baby brother, my teacher, and kitty." We have entered the planting season and farmers need blessings on this year's crops. It matters not how big the garden or field, if you are planting vegetables, grain or flowers; you need the blessings of the Creator.

"You fill the streams with water; you provide the earth with crops. This is how you do it: you send abundant rain on the plowed fields and soak them with water; you soften the soil with showers and cause the young plants to grow. What a rich harvest your goodness provides (Psalms 65:9b-11a TEV)." Farmers, we thank you "Bless You!"
