A LINE IN TIME

Tombstones bear a born date and a died date with a _ line between
The life that we lived is represented by that "line" that is seen.

When we stand before God on The Great Judgment Day
Just what will your little "line" have to say?

When your "line" is played back for all creation to see!
Will it ever show a time when you prayed on your knees?

Will it show God that you reached out to others in need?
Or will it show that you lived a selfish life full of greed?

What kind of "line" are you writing today?
Is your "line" recording a history of alcohol and moral decay?

Will your line reveal that you worshipped with praise in God's House?
Will it reveal that you abused your children and cheated on your spouse?

Angels are recording everything represented by your little line!
I hope you are getting the Big Picture as you close this rhyme!

Judgment ahead is sure! so consider this matter really well!
Will your "line" get you to Heaven or drop you in Hell?

Ref: Revelation 20:11-15
And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

II Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
