For Number One
by PamFord Davis

Sound familiar "Look out for number one!" Hmm "It's a dog-eat-dog world." Pessimistic or realistic? "Don't let people walk all over you! Are you going to be a doormat the rest of your life?" It gives me something to think about this morning. The world agenda promotes selfishness and power; yet, we only find fulfillment through surrender. Look out for others.

"Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men (Philippians 2:4-7 NKJ)."
