Visualizing a Masterpiece
by PamFord Davis

An artist stands before their easel, visualizing a masterpiece. With painstaking care, they chose the desired paints from their hand held palettes. One would not expect to see something beautiful to come from such a conglomeration of smeared dabs of oils or acrylic paints. Yet, the painter not only sees beauty in the palette, but also is apt at mixing the paints, blending chosen colors in precise amounts. With each movement of the paintbrush, a picture appears upon the surface.

The Holy Spirit is moving within hearts and outward circumstances of Christians. He personally uses each fruit of the Spirit as paint from a palette to create the image of Christ, God the Son. (Romans 8:28-29) "But the fruit that the Spirit produces in a person's life is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these kinds of things (Galatians 5:22-23 ERV)." You can be a work of art
