Dry Bones and Arid Places
by Deborah Ann Belka When God takes you into a valley, of dry bones and arid land you can be sure He'll be with you and give you the power to withstand. For, He promises not to forsake us, when devastation comes our way nor cut us off from His mercy but send His glorious hope to our day. When you're in a spiritual desert, and there's no water left in your well you can be confident in knowing His Spirit in you will always dwell. For, God promises to meet His child, at the lowest points of their life and He will give you the strength to out-run the heels of strife. When God take you into odd places, like Jonah was in the day . . . you can count on one thing it's not where He'll have you stay. For, whether it be a whales belly, or your own spiritually dry pit He has something for you to learn before He takes you out of it! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jonah 2 :1-3 King James Version "Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly, And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.
