The Land of The Unforgiven
by Deborah Ann Belka Lord, tonight I fell out of sorts, lonely and a little sad too and I am longing for the day that I'll be spending with You. The highs and the lows, of this everyday living . . . makes me weary of dwelling in the land of the unforgiving. So many just can't let go, nor forget the pain of their past in their minds they relive the hurt of the stones, others have cast. They dwell on the negative, in their misery they mope they will not listen when I say You ~ are their only hope. They need grace and mercy, they need to learn to forgive so that they can have peace and in You, victoriously live. But, they'd rather be crippled, by their hurt and their pain then to come to You . . . for any spiritual gain. Lord, tonight I am so weary, I want peace that will last help me to help them . . . to forgive, others for their past! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Colossians 3:12-13 King James Version "Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye."
