Intercessory prayer is generally not at the top of prayer priorities. As God's children, we are concerned about the world situation. The moral compass is defective, but personal problems outweigh global breakdown. Yet, we do pray for family, friends and acquaintances; that is highly commendable.

We have the privilege to commend them to God. "And now I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified (Acts 20:32 NAS)." What an awesome intercession; we place the concerns of others in the competent hands of our all-powerful God. He hears. He helps.
